On the premises of an old brewery near the main station is the new Urban Loft of the Althoff Hotels with its 213 rooms in four categories. The rooms, which are between 15 and 27 square metres in size, as well as the public areas such as the Open Space, are to impress above all with their modern, individual design, which was created by the Berlin interior designer Markus Hilzinger.

The design of the premises reflects the philosophy of the young brand: to actively shape the respective neighbourhood and living environment in order to create a place of inspiration and cooperation for creative people. Depending on personal preferences, music, light and room temperature in the rooms can be controlled via app.  With a loft, which is a lounge, coffee bar, eat and drink area and co-working space at the same time, an open space awaits the guests, which is intended to be a gallery or pop-up store at one time - and thus to focus on communication. In addition, the new Urban Loft offers its guests two terraces on the ground floor and a rooftop with a view of Cologne Cathedral. With a colourful mix of breweries, pubs, cafés and street art in the direct vicinity, the Urban Loft Cologne is thus perfectly suited to experience the city in a particularly authentic way, according to the responsible persons.
