On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus, a small but exquisite photo exhibition will open this year's sure to be excellent exhibition series in the Willy Brand Haus in Berlin.

Photographer Molitor has been touring the world since 2009 looking for heirs to the Bauhaus-inspired modern architecture under the theme of "aesthetics as the central element".
We were surprised by the variety of examples in public buildings such as schools, theaters, or petrol stations in Nairobi and Casablanca, as well as private buildings such as villas or residences in Prague, Essen, and Havana.

Of course you know Bauhaus-inspired cities like Tel Aviv, but the extent of the worldwide spread of influence is extraordinary.
Molitor's serious yet excitingly masterful way of working is perfect for a documentary exhibition.
It is also great that single signed prints are available for a small fee.
